Set 12: Escape to Yosemite National Park

Carry me through those winding roads … the ones that bring you up and over and then descending down and down to that valley floor. Oh the waterfalls, valleys, the dome, and meadows.. and that cradle of the surrounding granite walls in this perfect little valley of serenity on this late summer day. Then wind me through the roads back up once again and around that valley’s rim, so I might catch glimpses of her from new angles, new views… around and around until Glacier Point, then sit me down where I can breathe deeply the clear air and devour the vistas of eons of upheavals and erosions until the sun splashes across the mountains and then the deepest night descends and only then may I take my leave. Though be certain, I will return. I must return.
